“It is by faith in the Son of God that transformation takes place in the character, and the child of wrath becomes the child of God. 1SM 338.1
interesting thing is that it’s in our character we were the children of wrath !

Dear Alexandr,
I appreciate your observation. Usually, we don’t think about little children as “children of wrath” which humanly speaking is very normal. When we look at it from Biblical perspective we are painfully aware, especially as parents, that we are passing on to the next generation, to our own children, our selfish inclinations, and as Jesus said: “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying, ‘You must be born again.’ (Jn 3:6-7) and Paul confirms it: …flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor 15:50).

May these sober thoughts motivate us to give our children the best possible start in their lives. I can refer you to our seminar about The Studies in Christian Education: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYPWtIxtyrk&list=PLXyeKEAjGjv1yt3g_xXRnv-XRMe1vxW5u
